In addition to the largest dataset of entertainment and events listings, clients can now order photo images of the locations as well. This service is available through Global DataPoint’s co-operation with the Local Data Company.A matching process was completed to link the entertainment venues in the UK Events Listings database with corresponding points of interest (POI) records from the Local Data Company and the Market Location Database covering businesses across the UK.The co-operation also allows customers to add shops, restaurants, pubs and bars and local businesses to enhance the data offered by Global DataPoint. This will give websites and digital services the opportunity to have a full hyper-local ‘What’s On’ and ‘Where To Go’ service.
